LOST TO SPACE

With hope fading in the Milky Way, the Reconnaisance for Earth's Survival (R.E.S.) program dispatches your highly qualified team of scientists to find a suitable new home for the human race. As you approach your team's target solar system, your ship's autopilot malfunctions, leading to a crash landing on the vibrant, dense jungle planet Avalora. Will you survive and find a new home with your fellow astronauts?

FEATURES (Current Build):

This version can be thought of as the "MVP" of Lost to Space, with the most essential features for a survival-sandbox game implemented at a basic level. We currently have:

  • A movement system with a few movement abilities (all enabled for this build; they will be upgrades later)
  • A randomly generated looping world that the player can interact with by mining and placing blocks
  • An inventory and basic combat system
  • A cool boss fight!
  • Some amazing art, music, and lore!

CONTROLS:

  • WASD to move; SPACE to jump.
  • Press SHIFT in midair while holding a direction to activate boosters.
  • Press E to open the inventory.
  • With the sword equipped and in the hotbar, click LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to attack.
  • With the drill equipped and in the hotbar, click LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to mine blocks.
  • Press Q to interact (right now only the boss room door is interactable)

I just tried your game. It might be too early for early access. There is not really a game here yet. But I like the idea, looking forward to how it improves!

Thanks for playing!! We've only been working on the project for around 7 weeks, so we've mostly just been laying the foundation for the game. In the coming months, we're gonna start fleshing out the mechanics and adding content, so hopefully you'll try it again later on in development :)
